Aluminum air terminal, solid rod construction, 5/8" x 24", finished with a safety-tipped (rounded) point. Used as a strike termination device at ridges, edges, and rooftop projections per LPI 175. This size meets the LPI 175 Table 1 minimum diameter for a Class II air terminal (structures over 75 ft.). At exactly 24", bracing isn’t mandatory under LPI 175 §55 (required only above 24"), though many installers brace tall rods anyway for wind stability.
