The holes on either side of the lightning rod globes aren't consistently sized. I ordered 2 globes. One side of one of the globes will not fit over the rod, even after I removed the copper caps. Beautifully made except for the fitment. Maybe it's the luck of the draw.

This should not be the case and we want to make up for this factory defect. Please contact us at sales@lightningrodparts.com and send images of the dimensions of both holes and the dimensions of the rod you're trying to use with the ball. We will do everything in our ability to make this right.

Half way through installing. Lays well for such a large wire. Good quality and good service. First order damaged in shipment. But these folks got another on the way quickly.

I ordered the green glass with copper fittings. It is so beautiful, and the quality exceeded expectations. Took such care in shipping as well. If you need a replacement globe for your lightning rods, these are gorgeous.
