Received item in a timely manner. I opted for additional caps on the ends and, unfortunately, didn't see the comment about shrinking the opening size. Now it doesn't fit. When asked about the caps, company stated a blow torch could be used to remove caps, unfortunately I don't have a blow touch laying around and purchasing one for $25 would bring the globe to a price of an original old one. I was hopeful the company would offer an exchange but no such luck 😏
